Bill, First off, never use the clutch to shift the rear end. Just hold a load against the drive train with the throttle, push the button down. When you are ready to make the shift, just let off the throttle and then push it back down again. The rear end will fall right into the low side when the tension is released. To shift up, same thing. Hold the load against the truck, pull the button up, when you are ready to shift just let off the throttle and up she comes. You will always hear it rattle past a few teeth until you give it throttle and the sync is found. Pull that driver's visor down and the insturctions are all printed there on a tag. Allan
