O.T. - Comfortable Shoes

Recently I recall a post on the subject of shoes, working on a concrete floor, and the associated aches and pains from same. I am really curious as to what kind of shoes people would recommend for comfort, say on concrete floors, and the all around work environment. I've been doing some work in a building that was a long time auto dealer/service building and it's like 100' x 100' so it's hard to escape the floor, except for the offices and tenant space that has carpet with padding. I spent years on concrete decks of new buildings going up and never recall having issues with my feet and or legs getting so darned sore. Probably because the decks give or deflect compared to a slab on grade and or carrying a few extra pounds now is contributing. I was always one to go play hoop or stay in a hockey league to keep in shape, so the lack of good exercise lately, (so darned busy no time lately), probably does not help. One thing I noticed that after 8 hours on this floor, it's time to leave, no matter what, I did a long day last week and after 12 hours, walking was getting difficult. It compounds too, the longer you go, the longer it takes time to feel 100% again, you will need a full day of rest to recuperate whether you like it or not, feels like you reach a breaking point, only cure is staying off your feet. Probably time to head to the doctor too, see what's up, got nailed by a tick last Oct., but no symptoms of lyme, good time to get tested as the tests can be false from what I've read if you got too soon or take the antibiotics, have to wait until they clear out of your system, never had any of the symptoms, a friend had it and said every old injury ache and pain comes back, + being sick on top, he said it was awful and you would know if you had it, but everyone is different, best to get the oil analyzed I think.
