I retired from the Air Force after twenty years. My son was in the Army for 4 years with one tour in Iraq. I am here to tell you if you have to go join the Air Force. You will be behind the lines. We sned our officers out to fight while we stay behind and load the armor and fix the broken aircraft. We may not do the grunt work that hte Marine and Army do but arleast we are on solid ground and don't have to share our bed.
