My recently retired uncle and myslef have been playing with my grandfathers old tractors. Last winter we got an old Case L up and running. Believe the last it ran was in the mid 60's. Seems my grandad would buy a different tractor instead of repairing these. The L he bought for $50 in the early fifties and ran it until it needed tires and parked it. Our project this year is looking to be a Case DC. This one replaced a D that needed a radiator. We took it apart and noticed we had a cracked head and block and the Magneto is dead. One phone call later I have 3 other DC's and a D offered to me for parts or repair. 2 of the DC's are complete with the other DC and D are semi apart and very rough. What should one pay for a rough DC? I wish we would do a useful project such as a 4020 with 3pt. or similiar. Thanks for your responses!
