All the resistor core wire required, if it is necassary to prevent a "dead short" or too low and impedance secondary circuit path. Is just a foot long length between the coil and the distributor.
The rest of the wires should be solid core copper from the dist cap to the plugs.
Or you can use "solid" inductive wires. Summit Racing sells generic sets with what ever ends required. No graphite wires to break down and go open. The wires are solid but wound in a spiral or spring shape down the legth of the cable.
Works well enough to suppress AM radio noise too. They meausre just an ohm or two with an ohm meter.
