That Oliver looks real good! Sure a lot nicer than most of the old tractors I have messed with. It looks like it is all there. When I was a kid, our neighbor had a similar Oliver. He was a retired tractor mechanic who had mostly worked for the localdealer that handled Olivers. He had bought the tractor when it was traded in on a new tractor since it was in such nice shape and he kept it in immaculate condition. Unfortunately, I was just a little kid, and he would never let me drive the Oliver, even though I sometimes worked for him using our Case VAC. After my neighbor died in the mid-60's, I think his wife sold the Oliver. I always wished that my Dad had bought it, but he really didn't think we needed 2 tractors. I had the impression it was quite a bit more tractor than the old VAC. Good luck with what looks like a pretty easy restoration!
