Gary, About a week or so ago you asked about my roping. Well here is a link and a description with pictures. I am in a couple of the pictures. It is a practical type of roping used commonly in the west in the Great Basin region of Nevada, Utah, and California. Mostly used for doctoring, branding, castrating etc. I like it becasue you use low stress common sense approach to handling cattle. Stress on cattle = loss of gain and loss of dollars. This is not a common practice in Iowa or surrounding states, but should be. By the way this is just down the road a piece from you in Washington, IA, and I am just a few miles NW of you. Practically go by your place on my down there. Here is the link. http://www.northpinefarm.com/fcr06.html
