I agree with Howard, if your doing tillage and don't need to be on the rows get a true 4wd. Save your FWA for your light row crop things. To rebuild a front axle on a FWA costs as much as a good used steiger or versatile. I would lean to the versatile instead of a steiger especially if it is an older model. Both good machines but versatile was built so you can replace a clutch much cheaper and easier because the engine and trans are divorced. Good luck whatever you decide.
