PHOTO - Welsh farm house

Hi Gang;
This is a typical Pembrokeshire "Long House" which is the old style of farm house & buildings.
Constructed on stones (from the fields) with slate roof. In later years to preserve the roof and extend its life, they covered the slates with a thin mix of concrete.
Single story in centre is original house-cottage; note the two butress to protect the front door from the weather.
The left side is later addition to extend the living accomodation. The right side would have been the stables & cattle shed & barn.
They have almost disapeared, this one has been converted into a holiday home.
