Farmall Cub as a mower/garden tractor?

I'm lookin at a Cub to use as a lawn mower
and to work about a 1/2 acre of garden.
Is it a good machine? Can I get parts and
maintenance items? Will it bust dirt effectively?
Need help, new at this "Country Stuff"
