Randy, I put up a 1937 Aermotor, 35' tall and 8' fan at my hobby farm about 5 years ago. You do need to be anchored in cement about 5 feet deep. I had 4 angle iron pieces made, 5 feet long, with a pad on the bottom of them. bolted them to the windmill tower at the base. Put sauna tubes into the holes (around the angle iron pieces). Filled them with Sakrete, poured in some water, backfilled around the sauna tubes. Never had a problem. Pumps water just great. If you send me your email address, I'll send you a picture or two.
