I had this trans rebuilt by a local mechanic who is a trans rebuilder for a chevy dealer in another town and does work on the side and has been very reliable. this problem has been there since shortly after rebuild and we changed out speed control without helping any.I didn't protest because he is a friend and he saved me $$$. Also this is a very small town and i'm fairly new here. Decided I would try to live with it and shifting out of overdrive on steep hills and such have seldom had trouble.I will do a little more checking tommorow for cable. thanks
