I'd get a blade first if I were you. A box blade is better for
landscaping and such as you can move a lot of dirt with one. As for
hard dirt I rip it first with a 3-row marker (CLICK the link and go to
'TRACTORS', then Image 17) and then use the blade to bring it to
grade. For moving dirt I use a rear scoop with a hydraulic top link
to set the angle from the tractor seat (CLICK the link and go to
'STUFF') and then grade the piles with the blade. That's a 7' Howse
and it's heavy enough for most of my jobs but you can always add
some weight if needed.
