I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Winter halfway over? Look at the calendar. I think that winter started less than a week ago. The ground just started freezing yesterday for the second time around. 2 weeks ago we had 5 to 6 inches of frost. My son was putting in post holes for a deck he was building as part of his job. The pickaxe was a handy tool, but everyone I know avoids it like the plague. A little warmer weather and about an inch of rain and it got real muddy. It was actually better with a little frost today as I was moving some dirt trying to close up an electrial trench that we started digging 2 or 3 weeks before Thanksgiving. Don't let me get anyone down, I appreciate not tracking snow into the house everytime I come in. Yes the days are starting to get a little longer and that is welcome. I cleaned out the attached garage so that 2 cars will fit in it. Now I won't have to move the projects out of the shop to keep away from morning frost. I should try to get the cab and blower mounted on the garden tractor to help keep the snow away. I got the welder moved out to the heated shop since I finally got enough amps to run it. By the time I get ready for winter, I hope it is over.

I said that I would be interested, and was wondering what his next step was. (Although I was talking under my breath, since I thought of this some years ago) My friend, Arlyn Lamb of Lakeville, Minnesota was sincere in his miss
