I lost all my Firefox bookmarks one time a while back - I think it was when it updated. I went to one of the Firefox help forums and searched around, managed to find all the bookmarks in a file Firefox had made somewhere on the C-Drive. I'll work on remembering some of the details; too full of cookies right now to think.
I'll get back to you in the morning if I come up with something.
