Allis Chalmers 200 seal

We have an Allis Chalmers 200 that had a rear seal/gasket blow on it. It"s the seal for the 2 speed pto. The single speed pto models don"t have this seal. I was wondering what the least time consuming way to replace it is. We"ve already tried to use the gasket in a tube stuff but it didn"t hold
