My uncle's boss took one of those about 40 years ago and put it into a pickup. I think it was 35 to 40 horsepower. He owned a plastics factory and had toolroom equipment to make the conversion. I think it would only go about 45 which was plenty fast for what he wanted to do with it and got very good fuel economy. For an automotive application, I think the governor might not work the best, but on a stationary or constant speed application, it should work fine.
