Those were some nice shots, I can't believe you could get a fully loaded rig out in the middle of the field this time of year. Around here, depending on the rain situation, you might get away with it, or you might sink up to the axles and even a D8 cat might not be able to get you out, they sink too. Some fields yes, others have to travel to the edge to unload. I've seen some farms using old military trucks set up for grain out in fields. Last fall, the farmer who plants the 7 acre field here, sunk the combine in a wet spot, I would not have even ventured near it with my D7, a real sink hole, we got one of his JD's with front axle drive on a hard spot and gently pulled him out. First pass around too. I am surprised no one commented on the concrete masonry units ( block ) on their sides, that hold up that blower, probably been there for years, and there's enough of them to displace the load without crushing, but generally not a good practice to use C.M.U. like that, the regular strength ones crumble easily, as I'm sure is already known, the block police are abundant here LOL ! Nice seeing that grain flowing though, captured the moment. Could not read the license plate, but wondered where these photos were taken.
