Here is a stupid idea. Set scaffolding up on each side of the tractor. Bridge over the top with some 2X4's. Cover the whole thing with reinforced poly (you can buy windclips to install it). Set your torpedo heater inside to heat it. The masons work year round up here in Minnesota doing this. They keep it 65-70 degrees most of the time. Looks like you would have a nice concrete slab to work on so the ground won't turn to mush. When anchored properly these temporary structures will really withstand strong winds.
