Have seen this before, going on his own without any knowledge of farming he will go under the first year. Unless he has mega bucks in the bank now. Suggest he rent it on halves with someone who IS a farmer and offer to help him or hire out to him. Let the farmer make ALL the decisions.Do this one or two years then go on his own.le
