I would say an older Ford (9n,2n,8n ,Naa etc) or Ferguson (20,30,35 50 etc) would be worth considering if you are looking for an older machine. They are low, easy to get on and off,short and manuverable , cant be started in gear with the starter by accident,they steer easy , the seat can be moved way ahead to accommodate a child and the pedals would be easy for a child to work as they use a more down ward motion.
