With everything it sounds like, stay away from a row crop type of tractor of any make (That Oliver is a row crop) even if it has a wide front axle. Too danderous for a novice. Get a Utility type (The Ford is one) but get one with live PTO and hydrolics and power steering and be sure the lift and BRAKES work. A few year ago I had to pull the neighbors Ford (860) out of his pond (could just see the top of the loader above the water) and several year ago at a trailer park the owner was using a Ford 700 row crop (Narrow front) tractor maintaining around the gravel pit the park is built around and rolled the tractor into the pit and died under the tractor. If it had been the utility model he might never have rolled the tractor so get a low wide front tractor and make sure everything works to be safe.
