The Oliver 1600 would be my choice, I have had both, hands down, the Oliver. The Oliver has power steering, live hydraulics, live pto (Power Take Off), the 8N has none of this. The Oliver is twice the tractor of an 8N. . Down side of the Oliver is it most likely a Narrow Front Tractor, and caution must be used on hillsides, also has a higher center of gravity, more prone to roll over. But, both tractors can, and will, roll over. . I still would go with the Oliver.
