I've been missing out on the fun of spreading so far (just piling it out behind the barn) while I fix the old spreader. Floor is just too far gone for bandaids, so putting a new floor in. The thing was flexing a lot on the corners, with the result that the chain catches on various things underneath and breaks- so am using a piece of 3/4 exterior plywood to try to stiffen it up a bit, and am going to paint it up real good with wood preservative. Should do the sides while I'm at it, but a guy can only stand so much fun at one time.
