How many CFM is the comp? how much sand does the pot hold ? What size is the nozzle? I ran a sandblasting & painting business over 20 years. I still have a 185 CFM compressor , 350 lb sand valve pushing a 5/16 inch nozzle. I don't do public work any more but if I did I'd charge 100 per hour. I hire most of my blasting done by a guy with 900 CFM . 1000 lb pot pushing a 1/2 inch nozzle. It is cheaper to hire him than it is to pay my expenses for bigger jobs.
Grandpa always said when you hire something done ( like bulldozing) get the biggest and it will be the cheapest in the long run
