Had the heads on the bench from by 55 Buick and sent my young bride to the parts store in 1967 for a couple of valves and other stuff. Came back with a stack full of what I sent for. Counter fella must have been looking at wife and not looking at the paper work very close as for the bill was a fraction of the cost. Mother was present so all was good.

All the big box parts places want rock bottom labor cost-soooo you get what you get. Cheap parts with a life time warrenty. Who's life time?
