I have the old one, but figured on simply replacing it as I was there. I started looking for a replacement but have yet to find one. I cleaned the old one and boiled it and it came open progressively. At near boil it was full open. At room temp it is about 1/16th open. I placed it in the freezer and it closed completely. I thought it should wait til 160* then come open all at once. Not sure where I came up with this idea. My question is should I use what I have or keep looking? All responses are appreciated.
