The Amish build Bank Barns all the time useing common Wood Posts and Beams however if heavy machinery is to be parked on it I would use steel support columns and Steel sills with Wood Floor Joists 3"x10" no more than 8' span ,16"Centers,resting on the sills.2" T/G Flooring should be OK for the avg. Car or Small Tractor. Would not be cheap. Consider Concrete?
