I use Armor All wipes. They come in those round tubes like baby wipes. Not the tire wipes, not the glass wipes, but the other one. Can't rember their name right now, but I think the color is purple. Tire one is yellow, glass one is blue, Yes, the old lady just found them... purple container, called armor all cleaning wipes. After the second wipe down, no more black hands. Stayes clean all year in my machines. Does NOT make the wheel slippery. Mike
