My father died of congestive heart failure when he was 56, after a stroke at 53 (It was over a month before he was able to drink again; he started back smoking as soon as he got out of hospital.) and triple bypass at 55. I'm fifty-five next week - pulse 60, blood pressure normal, weight 155 lbs, down from 250 thirty years ago, work circles around co-workers twenty years younger.
If I can, you can. And twenty years from now you'll still be posting those fine photos from across the pond.
