Well, he may not be so far off. I went to the Deere dealer where I do most of my business and said I wanted a rotary mower that would match up to my 4020 diesel well, and one that would actually cut brush, not just weeds. They said go with a model 609, which I did. I put 3" diameter stuff through it, but it is ALL that 4020 wants. So I guess it depends on what he is doing. Cutting brush, or clipping weeds.
