Hey Bob, others, block heater

How 'bout I plan on a hybrid of two of the ideas... 1. 1/2" short nipple or however long as necessary, 2. Connector of some king with the 5" long 1/2 NPT screwed into that. I have about 3.75 inches into the head before I hit any metal, 3.5 to be safe. So if the nipple apparatus gets me 2" than that leaves me 3" still right up in the head where it will do the most good. What do you think, hope the paint creation is understandable. Thanks
