PHOTO - Fordson N tractor

Hi Gang;
Photo of 1938 Fordson N built at Dagenham England. The war clouds were building up and farmers started to buy tractors in numbers in 1938. Ford had updated the tractor with oil bath air cleaner & steering box. They modified the engine with high compression cyl head which caused a lot of problems - crankshafts breaking, and had to alter compression ratios quickly.
This is a beautifully restored example, only the belt pulley (off the later E27N Major) is wrong.
During WW2 around 95% of all tractors in use in England were Fordson N's.
