Sounds like it was really well built. My question is what was the
roof pitch? A couple years ago a hurricane hit near Miami (hit
Homestead AFB) and they said a lot of the damage to houses was
caused by the roof pitches. If the roof pitch is right the wind
creates lift just like an airplane wing, and the building tries to fly
away. A steeper pitch was required to prevent this from happening.
