There are a lot of big indoor natural gas units. The only ones I have seen are big ones though. I use a 7.5 KW Coleman, runs about 8 hrs on a tank of gasoline. Hospitals, schools, nursing homes all use big natural gas indoor generators. The NG units I've seen, theres no danger of them being stolen without a crane.
