H farmall of neighbors broke valve scraped engine (Keep this in mind) tractor allways started easy. Went to local savage yard.three H-s setting there put battery on one.6 volt. easy start took right off run smooth no noise.i'll just take that engine no need to start them all might make it hard to choose.took engine home bolted in tractor.flywheel an all.(now) we have problems.when starter get engine up on compression it just won't go on? i would have thought starter.no.battery.no.cables.no.push botton switch.no. we have changed it all?. you can crank-or put belt pully in gear to use as hand crank. not at all hard to start. Where O where did we go wrong? adapter plate drilled different maybe????????. Guys throw some curves we're already in circles
