Well I haven't noticed any power loss in the engine and it runs well. Unless the filter was clogged when I bought it in march and I thought it was fine. Now that I think of it every truck I have ever had was a chevy, A 1976 Silverado, 1998 S10 blazer and now the 2000 chevy. Everyone of these were good reliable trucks but everyone shifted rather rough from 1st-2nd gear. Much more noticeable than any other shift and the new truck truck is the same. Is this normal or can this be fixed? I have driven other trucks that act the same and others still that if not for the tach. you would never know it shifted. This is not slamming into second gear but it does jerk a little if you accelerate harder which for me would be normal acceleration for other drivers. This is just enough to be anoying for me.
