I was only one year old, but I hear the older folks talk about it all the time, they said, the duck hunters died by the dozens cause thay were hunting in T-shirts in 70 degree weather, and then at Noon -- the temps droped to zero (in just a few minutes) and you couldn't see two feet in front of you cause of the snow..
Now that takes some doing ! ! !
