Bob I have a 580b 2wd case.Around 60 HP. Was pushing logs the other day with the IH 1086 145HP and loader. Could not move them. Put the 580 against the logs and they moved. Anywhere you can go with a 2wd tracor you can go with a 2wd backhoe. Unless there is no bottom to the ground. Gary
