I am an IH man - born and raised red... but I would pick the 4440 out of those three in a heartbeat. We have a 2590 Case - it is a good tractor, but the 3-speed powershift has splits that are too big and it jumps when you shift it. We use it for pretty much everything - heavy tillage, stack mover, baler, loader, grain vac, etc. Nice powerful tractor, but in my opinion the transmission is out-dated compared to quad range. We also have an 8630 JD 4x4. The quad range in the JD is a darn good system and they run many hours trouble-free. I like the splits on the quad range - no jumpy shifts, and synchronized between the gears you need to clutch for. Lots of gear combinations so you can get the right speed for the job. 4440 is a popular loader tractor in the area of ND where I am from, a couple of our neighbors have them and enjoy them. Just my opinion and experience...
