Left one morning at 7 am came in 52 hours later, it was nothing to work 36 hours straight.. Guess the most time worked in one week was 16 hours straight..80 in 5 and 32 sat and sun, makes an old man out of you quick...You always hear how large companies will on work you so many hours in a day, thats bs worked there 24 years till they sold the pipeline, the company that bought it did not use Maintenance people.. I was foreman and had 3 crew part of the time, most of the time one..covered from 250 miles north to south. left lots of mornings at 4 am or earlier...see i was only a number to exxon lol. they are just like other companies they want nothing but green and employees are just numbers... MAY GOD BLESS THE USA
