After thinking about it a little, I realized that I can remember only seeing pusher fans on Cat equipment/gen sets and some were reversable. The Cat skid steer loaders are all pushers, and if my memory serves me correctly most of the other OEM's were also pushers. But these are not technically tractors so you are correct, and the fan in front of the radiator is not really a big deal except that you have a long fan shaft and bearings to mess with.
