I have an 02 Sierra extended cab, with a 8 foot bed. The extended cab works great. I can put my wifes wheel chair behind her without having to fold it up. That saves that headache. the 8 foot box allows me to haul 8 foot cargo inside the canopy for security and weather conciderations. The only thing is, I found that it is much easier to park in a parking lot by backing into the spot, cause it does take lots of room to turn this thing around. I have also heard that it won't fit in most garages. I don't have one of those yet however. Happy hunting tim in OR
