Need some ideas.

I have a snow plow that I have set up for another one of my tractors. If one like a meyers but its missing what I would call the shoes so it doesn't cut into the road. Do any of you guys have any ideas of how to make a pair of them?? Sorry buying them is not an option for 2 reasons. 1 no money to get them. 2 the snow is called for in 24-48 hours so theres no way to have them that fast by UPS etc. I'm thinking about cutting the ends out of a truck air tank and welding up legs what say you guys??
