Could you have put the carb back together wrong? My father has a 311B that had carb problems, I've rebuilt the fool thing at least 5 times, never got any better. The last time was tthis summer and it would dribble gas out the throat...first time for this. Finally had it re-built by the dealer, and the float had a pin hole...causing the dribble, but the upper casting had a slight warp, and THAT was what was causing all the other problems.Mike
