Doesn't matter what the output rpm is in high gear, that will be direct drive(engine speed). You have the transmission(s),choose the gear(s) that gives you 1000 output rpm at rated engine speed. Probably find that you will be down in 2nd or 3rd an one of the trannys,and direct on the other.
