I sent my Angus bull up the road for the summer, he was to be pastured for the summer in exchange for his services. It didn't cost me, it saved me some pasture at home, the fellow that got him was happy and cost him a summers worth of pasture for the bull. We both felt it was a good exchange. The bull was BIG and docile, but he ate like a herd of buffalo. When the summer was over I sold him to a Mennonite farmer, as I decided to keep some of my heifers, replaced him with a new bull and the whole swap meet didn't cost me a cent!
