Old, after losing a brother and 3 first cousins to colon cancer the Dr recommended a colonoscopy every 2 years. I went in to have it done at Kalamazoo,Mi hospital and it was a very painless test. They give you a injection and you drift off to sleep, and when you wake up it is all over with no memory of it at all. The worst part was having to ride home with my wife driving because they wont let you drive or operate machinery for the rest of the day. The whole test takes about 2 hours.
