mono, The primary reason for my post was that I thought there was a lot talk about the supply and demand (S-D) outlook for agricultural products, therefore the broadcast would be of interest to many on this forum. I have no stock holdings in the Deere Company, wish now that I was long yesterday at $87, it is has traded over $100 today. My reference to the broadcast was not to bring attention to the company stock but to their S-D opinions. My summary of the audio is that Deere looks for better and more profitable times for corn and bean producers. They may have talked about where there is now a corn-bean crop rotation; people may go to a corn-corn-bean rotation, to satisfy the ethanol demand. By way of implication, at least, this would translate to more demand for farm equipment and more profitable times for Deere. Regarding predicting a 20% increase in the stock price in the next year, if I predict which way, up or down, the price of something will go and am right, that can satisfy me. Predicting how far a price may go is much more difficult. Fear and greed are a big part of pricing and I know of no one good at measuring those ingredients.

Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start
