Hey Glenster, deer season and other hunting seasons do in fact bring out societies finest. It gets crazy for the first couple days of rifle season and then the following Saturday it slows a bit.Couple of years ago me and wifey were laying in bed at about 5:30am and heard a couple of shots right behind my home.I jumped up and went out and there was tracks in the grass(dew)where a punk walked right passed my bedroom window and my shop and started shooting my squirrels.Him and a buddy parked his truck down the road and walked in.I went down there but they gave me the slip but I did ID his truck.Ended up he is a a neighbors son with mental issues.I later found out that he had been tresspassing on other peoples property too.He has been real active so far this season up and down the road back and forth but he hasn't been on my place yet that I have seen.Getting permission helps my attitude towards hunters,I always got permission long before I stepped foot on another persons property.I noticed the ones that have been tresspassing here are the very ones who don't have a pot to pi$$ in of thier own and probably never will, never held down a job, living with thier parents,on drugs,or just mentally challenged.Deer season has its ups and downs and tresspassers are the dark side. There are single and double shots around my area after dark and several before deer season opened. If the game wardens wanted to they could be very busy people.
